Cellulite is a fat deposit beneath the skin. Cellulite appears as lumpy, dimpled flesh on the thighs, hips, buttocks, and belly.A wide variety of factors contribute to the amount of this fat ranging from lifestyle to genetics.
Causes of cellulite that can be stabilized and controlled to various degrees include stress, hormones, poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle, inactivity and weight gain.

Estrogen is commonly pumped into cows to increase milk production. When consumed, this can cause an increase in estrogen levels in your body. Not all fat is bad. Fatty fish, such as salmon and mackerel, are an example of a positive fat which actually helps the body to metabolize problem fat, like cellulite. Overall, limiting consuming foods rich in anti-oxidants, essential fatty acids, trace minerals and lecitin with B vitamins will help prevent cellulite.
Exercise to reduce cellulite:
Exercises, especially cardio, helps to stimulate blood circulation in problem areas. Light exercise throughout the day is an excellent way to ensure your body’s exercise needs are being met. Walks on lunch break, standing at your desk for 20 minutes, and yoga sessions will help to increase blood flow.
Talk to your doctor about your hormone, especially your estrogen levels and make sure they are optimized.
The best time to apply creams are right after exercise when the circular system still has increased activity. There are many types of creams on the market today.
