Reconstitution Guide: Mixing SLU-PP-332

Most peptides, including SLU-PP-332, arrive as a lyophilized powder (freeze-dried cake) in a glass vial. To use it, you must “reconstitute” it by mixing it with Bacteriostatic Water.

The Supplies You Need:

The Process:

  1. Clean: Pop the plastic caps off both vials and wipe the rubber stoppers with an alcohol pad. Let them dry.

  2. Draw Water: Draw the specific amount of bacteriostatic water into your mixing syringe (usually 1ml, 2ml, or 3ml, depending on the concentration you need).

  3. Inject: Insert the needle into the SLU-PP-332 vial. Do not shoot the water directly onto the powder. Aim the needle at the glass wall of the vial so the water trickles down gently.

  4. Equalize Pressure: After injecting the water, pull the plunger back to remove an equal amount of air from the vial (this prevents a vacuum lock).

  5. Dissolve: Remove the needle. Gently roll the vial between your hands. Do not shake it violently, as this can damage the fragile peptide structure. Wait until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear.
