Administration Guidelines for SLU-PP-332
SLU-PP-332 is typically administered via subcutaneous injection (under the skin), similar to insulin or other peptide therapies. It is not an oral medication.
Step-by-Step Administration:
The Tool: Use a standard insulin syringe (U-100).
The Site: The most common injection sites are areas with subcutaneous fat, such as the abdomen (at least 2 inches away from the belly button) or the outer thigh.
Rotation: It is critical to rotate your injection sites daily to prevent scar tissue or lipohypertrophy (lumps under the skin).
Hygiene: Always wipe the top of the vial and your skin with an alcohol swab before injection.
Storage: Once reconstituted (mixed with bacteriostatic water), the vial must be kept refrigerated. It should not be left out at room temperature for extended periods.
Safety Warning: Never share needles. Ensure you are using a clean, sterile needle for every administration. If the solution looks cloudy or has particles floating in it, do not use it.
